Rendang and Rice will be suspending supper clubs until further notice. However we will be happy to cater for your special event or if you just fancy having a cosy Malaysian dinner with your family and friends in the comfort of your own home.

Rendang & Rice Supper Club

The supper club experience is flexible to suit your needs but requires more notice. For the private dining experience we can either host a party of between 4-8 people in our home, or if you prefer we can bring the food to you (provided you’re within a 10 mile radius of Ashburton)!

Typically one person gets in touch on behalf of a group of friends and family and we work around you- contact us to find out how best to enjoy your own private Malaysian feast.

Please note that we do not have an alcohol licence but you are most welcome to bring your own. Due to limited fridge space, it’s advisable to pre-chill your drinks.

Sate ayam, kuah kacang, timun
Chicken satay with peanut sauce and cucumbers

Slow-braised beef shin in a coconut gravy

Jackfruit curry

Pajeri nenas
Spicy, sweet and sour pineapple curry 

Sambal goreng kacang buncis
Green beans stir fried with spicy sambal  

Kerabu lobak merah dan putih

Booking/Attending:

Please email us at rendangandrice@gmail.com with the subject line ‘Supper Club’. Price per person is £25. Please include the below information in your email:

  • Date you’d like to attend

  • Number of guests

  • Phone number (required for the member of the party making the booking only)

  • Names and email addresses of guests attending

  • Any allergies*/dietary requirements for you and your party (substitutions will be made where possible)

To secure your booking, full payment is required upon confirmation of the supper club. Payment to be made by bank transfer.

If you do need to cancel, please note we will ONLY be able to refund deposits with a minimum of 72 hours notice.

*Allergy Information:
Due to the nature of the home kitchen, it will not be possible to cater specifically for serious allergies.
